A Gospel Easter Egg Challenge for Families

Make the days leading up to Easter meaningful and memorable with The Easter Eggs, a beautiful 9-day Easter family devotional designed to help children discover the true story of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Beginning on Palm Sunday and continuing through to Easter Monday, families are invited to take up the Gospel Easter Egg Challenge. Each day children search for the next “Easter egg” and journey through the events of the first Easter, exploring how Jesus went to the cross and rose again as the forever King.

Simple, engaging, and deeply gospel-centred, this resource helps children piece together the significance of why Jesus had to die and rise again, one truth at a time. Each devotional card includes a Bible passage, thoughtful questions, and opportunities for families to reflect, pray, and respond together.

Designed to be flexible for families with children of different ages, the discussions can easily be adapted for ages 3–12.

Each card features a beautiful illustration by Jacqui Glass and includes prompts to help families explore the Bible passage together. The cards are A6 in size (10 × 15 cm) and printed on thick cardstock with a matte laminate for durability. They come packaged in a custom-designed washable drawstring bag, making them easy to store and return to year after year.
